The great southern expedition of 2008
Garden Update
Dunc and I have learned many lessons about gardens this year. One of them is that I cannot grow a god damn thing. Most of the seeds we started have died but some of them have kept their heads down and powered through it. Here are some pictures of the survivors.

One of the brussel sprouts that lived through the lagomorphic destruction.

A post for a crappy, stupid, fruitless day
Emily and I went to the Galena Dogwood Festival as vendors this morning. It was terrible. Rainy, cold and gray. There were plenty of people in attendance, but they didn't want to look at what we were selling, bastards. We left early feeling cold, having to pee and Emily's stomach hurt. Must of have been the hot chocolate. Any way, I thought that instead of putting pictures of this miserable morning on the blog, I would put some sweet pictures of Dookles and other things. Oh, and we didn't even make enough to cover the vending fee. We don't like them.
We got rhubarb at the Farmer's Market last week. We made Rhubarb Bread. It was very interesting but made both of us feel sick. Too much oil perhaps.

Dorkles of the Week
Any sunny spot she can find, even if it is a dirty old pot.
She has also taken to sleeping in bags...

Etsy
I have always made fun of people who obsess over their pets. And now with an uncomfortable mixture of pride and shame, I am one of those people. Etsy is the best place to find crap for pets. Here are some jewels...
The pillow is by My Bonnie, she takes a photo of your pet and appliques a woolen depiction on the pillow.
And I can't forget to mention Ugly Kitty. She is out of Annapolis. She raises money for a no-kill animal shelter.
